In just a couple weeks I’ll be leaving on a mission to Guatemala along with other team members from The Pointe Church. This 8-day trip will be hosted by CH Global and we’ll be staying in Mayan village in El Zapatillo located in the Northeast part of the country. CH Global plans & coordinates each ministry opportunity.
The opportunities to serve in Guatemala are:
- Cross-cultural evangelistic outreach in a Mayan community
- Final part of a new preschool The Pointe Church started building in the summer of 2016.
- VBS type activities with children
- Other projects as needed by the village
It’s my hope that this opportunity will be a huge blessing to the people of El Zapatillo not just during our trip, but in the years to come as they’re able to take advantage of the work that’s being done on the preschool and other ongoing projects that we’ll contribute to or complete.
These missions trips are instrumental not only for supporting these programs, but also by stretching the mission team’s abilities and faith as we serve.
